Etsy is a great place to browse for homemade goodies – sellers are usually based in the US but shipping rates tend to be very reasonable.

There’s quite a few mineral make up beauty companies on there. Some are good. Some are really quite naff. It depends, it’s a bit of pot luck but these days everyone thinks they know how to make mineral make up!

Then there’s Candy Glam. The swatches they have are lovely:

They say the shadoes are

Formulated WITHOUT:
- Parabens
- Sulfates
- Synthetic Fragrances
- Synthetic Dyes
- Petro-Chemicals
- Phthalates

Lemoncello, Something Wicket and Isly of Skye.

I am not mad for pigments or any kind of loose powder eyeshadow but these are lovely. Really nice. Soft, very fine textured – no chunky glitter here. At the same time, the colours aren’t to pastel or wishy washy. They are smooth and totally blendable….I like!

The lipgloss – I left this at work, I think its called Fate.

The Lipgloss is a sheer and shimmery gloss but not overly so. The texture is quite a thin liquidy one – not thick at all and a non-sticky type. Mine is mine flavour – I’m not actually that keen on it BUT you can choose your own flavour!

The list is long, but I’ll list the nicest sounding flavours, they sound delicious:

Carnaval a’deux
Travel abroad a flight of the imagination spun in clouds of banana, peach, a hint of pink clove and cotton candy entwined with delicate Turkish rose petals.

Doux coquette
Complete luscious luxury diffuses from this aromatic delight. An exquisite blend of black currant, raspberry, jasmine, orange blossom, and woody violets. Flowery, fruity, and very French.

Framboise violette
Inspired directly from Parma Violets in Italy. A powdery sweetness like violet candies along with the violet floral note and a thread of greens and woods. Your senses will be whirled and twirled and then land in a swirling pool of luscious red currant berries.

Gingembre riche
A sensual, spicy blend of natural flavor essences. A glorious fusion of cassia, cinnamon, cardamom, ginger, and nutmeg that will entice your senses.

Noix de coco
The cool citrus of lemongrass combined with the sweet warmth of coconut makes for a refreshing and unexpected flavor blend that, in the opinion of our testers, is well-nigh addictive.

Overall a really nice find, I’d definately invest in some of the brighter pigments.

It’s never ossured to me to look for cosmetics on Etsy, I really like the Skye colour. And I’d love some contact lenses that make my eyes the colour of that shot at the top lol

Hey Li

Yes! Although with Etsy it seems a bit up and down for quality! But Candy Glam are great.
