8 Days of Shampoo Reviews No. 1: Evolve Eco Beauty Detox & Protect Shampoo & Conditioner Review

**If there is one beauty product I go through quickly it’s shampoo as I wash my hair pretty much every day. For the next 8 days there will reviews from products that I have used for at least 3 weeks each. My hair type is dry, frizzy and coloured**

Evolve Beauty is a British brand with quite a nice small selection of skin and hair care. The Detox and Protect shampoo and conditioner seemed like a nice product as its very natural and kind to the scalp.

They say:

Moringa peptides help to reduce styling buildup and urban pollution and rebalance the scalp, whilst wheat proteins and gentle coconut based cleansers add a gentle shine.

This product is for normal to oily/congested hair. The first thing I noticed about this set is that the packaging is lovely – sounds silly but its an ususal flat shape that fits nicely in the hands.

The product has a fresh smell and it really didn’t cause any irritation at all to my scalp which is a massive plus because it is so sensitive.

The shampoo is clear and I like it – it’s pretty foamy like normal shampoo but more liquid than normal shampoo – not really a problem.

The conditioner is a very liquid white lotiony type texture. It’s unusual – I can almost smell the aloe vera in it. It feels nice on but it’s just not conditioning enough for my hair type (which is very dry and knotty). It would work well for fine hair that needs a light conditioner.
