YSL have released a Limited Edition blush and highlight powder for Autumn 2010.

They say:

This season’s star is embellished with a detail of passementerie engraved on the emblematic YSL compact in contrasting matte and shiny gold. This powder in interlacing barely-there shades will give you sinful radiance.

The slick gold case has the beautiful passementerie (elaborate trimmings and engravings) on the top:

I am very very bad at using anything this pretty and limited edition – I end up keeping it as part of my collection instead. But this one, I’ve decided is going to be my special powder for winter! So I threw away the box so it has to go into my regular make up bag not my collectors drawer:

There’s a warm bronze/peach in the centre and a whitish pink highlighter around the sides. You can mix together or use separately.

The powder has a fine shimmer to it – so it’s not an all over powder, just for strategic placement, please:

The dark side is a sparkly bronze apricot – very pretty and the white highlighter has a fine silvery sparkle.

Mixed together:

Super pretty powder I’ll be using to blush and highlight.

You can buy this on YSL counters at the moment, it’s Limited Edition at £35.

I bought this in the Xmas sales, and have only just got round to using it, but for me, it made me look sooo glittery, I think i’ll save it for legs in summer or something *shrug*
