Its bronzer season girls and I’ve had so many bronzers land on my door, some orangina hell, some gorgeous (will do a Top 5 Video – yes VIDEO! soon).

Soap & Glory’s Solar Poweder is a two sided bronzer that comes in a solid cardboard case. Its bulky to me, but its well made and solid.

They say:

Mix-and-match multi-shade bronzer for beautifully luminous skin. FREE brush and Mirror included! Sweep the brush lightly over the bronzer, then dust onto your face, neck and décolletage for instantly sun-kissed skin.

Cute packaging as always. I loved those pointy bras:

Does this give you the greatest glow on earth? That’s what it promises…Well its cute. Theres an overspray on the S&G letters and then half is light brown, the other half is darker brown. The powder isn’t 100% matte but there is only a small amount of detectable glitter.

The texture is very creamy and soft – its nice to touch…

However – this product does feel like it lacks pigment to me. The finish is very very natural and even with a bit of rubbing, my finger went a faint nutty brown at most.

Is this a good or a bad thing?

If you are dark or olive its not going to show up much on you – it will add warmth but not really a full on bronze.

If you are pale or you are scared of Bronzer then this is your dream come true – you will not get orange streaks or a unnatural finish with this product.

Verdict:

This bronzer costs £12, its cute and its easy to use.

It isn’t for you if you want a stronger colour or want more of a shimmery finish. It isn’t for you if you are darker skinned as it may not show up much.

However if you want a very natural finish that doesn’t look like bronzer or a tan product then this is definitely for you.

You can buy this from Boots, Harvey Nichols and ASOS!

Yay, can’t wait for the upcoming video. I’m looking for a matte, subtle, non-orangy bronzer so desperately. xD

I’ve been looking for an almost matte bronzer that wouldn’t be too dark for my pale skin, making me look orange so I think I will check this out, thanks for the review.
