Bit late with this one, but its worth the wait, I promise.

Part of Estee Lauder’s 2010 Bronze Goddess Collection is these four Limited Edition Liquid Eyeshadows.

You know I love cream eyeshadows, right? No? Well go through the Archives!

Here are the beauties:

There are four shades to choose from – Sand Shimmer a shimmer beige, molten bronze a rich gold-bronze, aqua flash, a rich turquoise and ultra violet, a shimmery purple.

My first thought is that these cream eyeshadows (and I would say they are more cream than liquid – the Chanel D’Eau Ombre is what I would count as a liquid) are HIGHLY pigmented.

As you can imagine I have lots of cream/liquid shadows and they can err on the side of sheer or very very sparkly. These ones are rich and pigmented, without glitter.

Wet:

I like all of the shades – to me they are colours that anyone can pick something out of? My favourite is of course, Aqua Flash!

These eyeshadows last very well. Not sure if they are waterproof but once they set (and they set fairly quickly) they stay put very well. Good for summer and those oily lids. No creasing.

When the shadow dries it becomes a little more matte in its finish.

When dried:

Its worth remembering to not use too much – apply it too thick and it can look crackly on the skin. Less is more – its highly pigmented anyway.

On the eyes:

The eyeshadows come with a standard sponge tipped applicator. I dabbed it on the skin then used my finger but you can of course, use a synthetic brush too.

I just had a really random play to see what it would look like on my eyes. I think its the law everyone has a bright blue for the summer:

These are my new lashes by the way! Review coming up! Excuse the mascara splodges.

The bronze and sand shimmer combo:

Once again I found all the colours worked quite well for my NC35 medium olive complexion. I think the sand and bronze, possibly the purple could work for most skin tones.

Verdict:

I creative product and better for the summer than a standard eyeshadow palette – it makes sense to produce something that will last when the weather gets warmer. I like! Imagine a cheek version of these….mmmm……

The Liquid Eyeshadows are £15 each and are Limited Edition. Out in House of Fraser in April, Nationwide in May.

They look lovely on you! I think they’d be a bit difficult for me to use regularly, but the bronze is tempting. I already have too many aquas that I’ll never be able to use up, ah well. Still, lovely colors!

These look so vibrant and simply gorgeous! I know you love your glitter (:p) but I like that they are without it :) Loving the combinations on the eyes :)
