As a lip balm addict, I reserve the right to buy any new lip balm that, erm, takes my fancy.
When I saw this Jill Stuart Fruit Lip balm in all its glorious packaging, I had to buy it! I actually have the previous Limited Edition release of lip balms from Jill Stuart but they were lovely – this new version is even better.
I love the look of this jar! The lip balm comes in 2 shades, white/clear and pink.
They say:
An ultra-moisturizing lip balm softens and nourishes lips while topping them off with a high gloss shine. Sheer wash of color gives lips a delicate tint, playing off the natural color of your lips. Housed in an elegant jar with a stunning silver cover, it adds a touch of sophistication to any makeup collection.
The top of the lid has this delicate design and a gem on to- it’s quite a sturdy thing, you can chuck it into your bag like you would with any other lip balm…
The lip balm is the shape of a fruit…I can’t put my finger on it though!
This lip balm has a beautiful texture – I don’t like overly glossy lip balms normally, but this is just gorgeous! It has a super soft texture but leaves a glossy, flattering pink sheen on the lips that lasts, and really hydrates.
It just feels lovely and looks lovely…perhaps the nicest lip balm texture I have ever tried.
I paid about $18 for this which I thought was quite cheap for a Jill Stuart product.
Verdict:
I don’t mind using this product up, after all I can always fill it with another product afterwards.
This is such a lovely product – it smells nice, it feels nice, and looks nice. It’s funny will Jill Stuart, usually I find the idea of the brand is better than the actual products but this one is a winner.

ugh, now you’ve totally convinced me to go out and buy this
normally I like the idea but am not so crazy about the products, but your review makes it sound fabulous! even though I prefer stick balms…
