Missha is not a brand I usually buy from, but as soon as I saw the Creamy Matte Lipsticks, I knew I had to try it out….

I have seen this in 6 shades (there could be more) all neutral, soft, pretty shades.

The problem I have with matte lipsticks is that quite often, they are too drying and I already have flaky lips. Most of the lipsticks I get from Asia tend to have quite a glossy, sheer, sparkly effect – not all of them but a lot of them so its nice to find something with a different kind of texture.

I bought this in PK2, a pretty soft pink:

This lipstick contains shea butter and mango butter to moisturize, and Elastomer powder to give the soft, matte effect.

I do like the matte lip look – its elegant and polished and this lipstick is a great one for people like me who can’t wear conventional matte lippies.

Its very creamy, very soft and has a medium pigmentation. It nicely conceals the pink I already have in my lips but doesn’t make them look too washed out.

The colour isn’t madly exciting – its true – but its a very wearable every day lip and a good non-drying matte. It still clung a tiny bit to some dry areas I have but nothing too major:

I find mattes make the flaking worse usually, but this one didn’t so thats progress!

I bought this lipstick from eBay, for $14 here.
