Brand new, shiny lipsticks, that look amazing, are perfect in appearance but then. they. wobble.
Wobbly Lipsticks are a crime against make up because…
1. Incase you haven’t noticed, Lipsticks are not particularly cheap these days. The last few I have purchased have all been in the rather steep £18 – £25 category which in my eyes means it should be *perfick*
2. A wobbly lipstick makes me feel insecure about how rough I can be with it. I had the most, and I mean most beautiful cool toned glossy rose lipstick from MAQUillage and it wobbled so I always had to be very careful with it. I could never twist up more than the tip.
One day I was slapping the make up on, SNAP! Off it came at the base. That’s the thing about wobbly lipsticks – they always feel like they are teetering on the edge.
3. When you shake the lipstick in its barrel it makes a noise. That’s annoying.
4. It has negative effects on your relationship especially when you can’t let go of the fact that your new lipstick is perfect but wobbly, and tell your other half about it over and over again until he loses his rag and takes the lipstick back for you to exchange for something else…..oh wait. This is the solution!
Am I just being super anal about this? If a lipstick is pretty much sound, is the wobble really a problem?
Do you prefer wobbly lipsticks? Do you like wobbly food as well?
