Chantecaille makes some seriously stunning but rather expensive make up but you know I love concealer. This Total Concealer comes in a 3.5gram pot but yep – you only need a little bit.

This is a treatment concealer, they say:

A special gel mix of olive oil and tamanu nut oil provides a nourishing and full layer of coverage that manages to seamlessly cover dark circles and blemishes. Chamomile, green tea, orchid extract and wild rose work together to heal and protect the skin; the gel-like formula softens the appearance of fine lines.

Mine is in Alabaster – light than in the photo, but good enough for under my eyes. The texture, although thick is gloriously creamy and its fairly good at covering. Its not opaque, like Amazing Concealer, or RMK but it makes up for it with a super soft texture:

Here is the product on my skin – you have see its quite thick but also has a creamy edge to it.

My skin is mega sore and tired at the moment – I need some kip! But here it is under my eyes. It feels very comfortable around the eye area and adds a glow.

If you need high coverage you may prefer Amazing Cosmetics Concealer but if you want something to cover circles and soften lines I think this is a pretty good choice.

For facial blemishes it feels a little bit too greasy – it would totally work but I don’t think it would stay put for too long.

Verdict:

A good quality medium coverage concealer, a little on the greasy side but great for try skin.

Its £30 but I got mine from eBay for £16.
