Whilst we are talking peaches today, I may as well talk about Etude House’s rather cool Pore Erasing Peach Base.

A fairly thick, dense mousse type textured primer (or can be used on its own if you have nice skin), it fills in the pores and creates a slightly matte, smooth finish.

The texture is very hard to explain. It does remind me of a very very dense mousse, one that has had practically all the air sucked out of it. So you have to use the spatula to get some of the product out, then warm it up in your hands, then apply to the face.

It is smoothing and it covers pores nicely. I have one big problem with it and its how ashy it makes your skin if you aren’t light. I am a NC35 and this makes me look a little wan; if you are any darker, you will look like coco the clown – its more flattering on lighter skin tones, for sure.

There are 2 shades for this – 1 which is the shade you see and 2 which is a light green (for ruddy skin tones).

I can’t help but feel this is a tad thick. I still used foundation on top of it (if not just to add some colour back to my face!) and it made it slide off.

Overall, I love the scent of this peachy base (although normally I hate scented base products – whats the need?!), I love the idea and the packaging, I’m not keen on the colour and I don’t like its overly thick texture.

I’d recommend for light skinned ladies with drier skin, who just love little fuzzy peaches.

This is the ad for it – cute but if it were on my tv, it would take about 10 appearances before I started throwing mars bars and shoes at the screen:

Cute ad! The guy has nice skin too hahaha.

I am quite tempted to try this, but I have combo-oily skin =[

Hi Blair

Oily skin? Hmm. I think the primers a little thick for oily skins :/

My sister was looking for something for her roseacea, wonder if the green tint one would help her…

Hi Product Placement!

If your sister has Rosacea, I would recommend this: https://cosmetic-candy.com/?p=5499

It’s got a beautiful texture and works well to cover redness without being unatural
