I am a massive fan of the Neals Yard Rejuvenating Frankincense range – LOVE. However, my complaint about the face cream is that it’s quite stinky.

I have the face cream, the toner, the serum (amazing stuff) and face wash from the range.

And now this – the Eye & Lip Serum!

An intensive daily treatment to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, with rejuvenating frankincense; moisturising, elasticity-boosting baobab oil; firming nutrient-rich marine algae and a smoothing, collagen-stimulating tri-peptides.

What I liked about this serum is that its for the eye and lip area. It comes in a pretty small pump bottle (I like this because it’s handy, BUT, it is just 10ml for £22 so not that cheap, but then again, not THAT expensive either).

This does have that slightly turmeric-y smell all of the products in this range has. I swear, you either can live with it or HATE it. I can tolerate it because this range is amazing, but it is pretty strong.

Mr Candy always says (without a hint of irony) “Can you smell curry?”.

No…that’s my face, darling.

The texture is light:

It actually looks more like a light lotion than a serum.

However – it’s a pretty nice product.
In sinks into the skin quickly, which I like. I don’t like any product that just sits on the surface of this skin.

Around the eyes this makes it the ideal treatment in to morning as I slap my make up on. At night – you may prefer a richer cream if you need the hydration. In that sense it doesn’t match the face cream (which is SUPER rich) – so will someone who uses such a thick cream want such a light eye cream? I dunno.

As for the lip area – I have used it there (I imagine this product will disappear quickly if used on the eye and lip area twice a day), and its nicely hydrating although I haven’t seen any difference in terms of lines and wrinkles (not that I am wrinkly around there). Still…prevention is better than cure?

Love the Frankincense range and this product is a great addition.
