Neal’s Yard is a store that looks like a Apocathary – full of natural and organic skin and body care goodies – they also have herbs and things to make up brews.

Pretty shops! Having said that I haven’t visited one in a while – I was completely obsessed with their Rosewater toner for a while – it was super super simple but so effective.

Cos I’m on a new gentle skin and hair product routine I got some items to try – Jasmine Shower Gel, Jasmine Body cream and Facial Oil:

A little tip
The dropper does not reach the base of the bottle. This is to avoid breakage. As you reach the last of the oil, carefully tilt the bottle so that the specially angled dropper can reach the serum.

Directions
Apply daily, after cleansing, to clean, dry skin, or for extra moisturisation, apply to skin that is slightly damp. Use the dropper to place a few drops of the serum in the palm of the hand, and apply to the face with fingertips. Gently massage the oil into the skin with a circular motion.

How the Product Works
Daily stress and environmental toxins can damage our skin, leaving it tired, dull, and vulnerable to an accelerated ageing process. This unique serum enriches, brightens, and strengthens the skin using a combination of potent plant based anti-oxidants and phyto-nutrients.

Ingredients:
Aqua, Glycerin*, Sucrose distearate, Helianthus annuus (Sunflower) seed oil*, Centella asiatica (Gotu kola) extract*, Palmitoyl tripeptide-5, Vaccinium corymbosum (Blueberry) oil, Curcuma longa (Turmeric) root extract, Sodium hyaluronate, Boswellia carterii (Frankincense) oil, Citrus bergamia (Bergamot) peel oil expressed*, Citrus nobilis (Mandarin) peel oil expressed*, Tocopherol, Xanthan gum, Cetyl alcohol, Sucrose stearate, Levulinic acid, Potassium sorbate, Citral, Citronellol, Limonene, Linalool.

The shower gel has a really strong scent of Jasmine – it reminds me freshly made tea. You only need a tiny tiny bit to make a nice lather. Also no allergies or itches for me using this product!

The body cream is lovely – you get quite a large tub.

It smells quite strong but sinks in super easily and feels very nice – theres lots of other scents to choose from if Jasmine ain’t your thang.

I also got the Frankincense Facial oil. It’s an anti aging oil that firms the skin.

You get a dropper things with this so that you an just get a small amount of product – and that’s all you need. My skin has been a bit dry lately but still spotty so I wasn’t sure if the oil would work, but it was really nice. I used it straight after I washed my face, when it was still a bit damp and it sunk in quickly. I am liking these oils a lot, but you need to be sparing with it and its quicker for me to apply a bit of oil rather than putting cream on later…that’s right! Great for the lazy gal.

Visit Neals Yard here. I’ve got my eye on their eye gel and some of their teas next!
