There was lots of Character make up and prosthetics going on at IMATS London. There was also a make up museum, a fairly small area with some life size models and heads – amazing stuff.
You know what I would have loved to have seen? Some dead carcasses from CSI or Dexter. Just sayin’
Here are some images of make up and prosthetics from IMATS:

Mogwai!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How badly did I want one of these babies as a kid, but I was also overwhelmed, terrified of the responsibility of looking after something you can’t get wet. I mean…I dribble a lot. One night in bed with me and Mogwai would be wet from Saliva.
Oooh:
How much did I want to nick this and stick this in my little cousins bedroom….no….no…I wouldn’t….honest

I attended IMATS on the Saturday and have to say that the character makeup and prosthetics was the one thing that really left an impression on me. The quality of work was incredible and so realistic. Amazing what people can create

Hi Rebecca
I have to say I wondered around a little bit bewildered – it was a such a blur. The prosthetics were interesting to see!
