I don’t like you in that way; Prescriptives Colourscape Palette in Warm

I don’t own anything from Prescriptives, but the Christmas palette, Colourscape in Cool & Warm seem like a good idea.

You get six full sized eyeshadows and two full sized blushers. The fact that they are full size should have given me a clue but I didn’t realise how humungous the palette world be and heavy – in my opinion, it is not compact enough to take out and about with you are certainly not in a little handbag for the evening.

Anyway, my palette was from QVC and is a different variation from the current 2007 Warm Palette but the idea is there:

Colours included are:

Bellini
Cocoa
White Wash
Sage
Golden
Charcoal.

The Cheek Colours are:

Brown Sugar
Warm Light.

You can refill the palette with shadows.

I was hoping to love this palette but I just find the colours incredibly bleh – there’s nothing wrong with having neutrals but there normally has to be a few colours that are pullers but apart from the Cocoa (which has shimmer) I found this palette dull and not particularly pigmented.

And as I said, it is a big and heavy palette which I would never carry round. Besides if it were truly multi purpose it would have something else like lip colours?

This is a great palette for a newbie but I personally find it extremely dull and of good quality – not great. And I have enough great quality make up to send this Prescriptives Palette back to QVC!
