Another one of the items I hauled from Japan was the Canmake Nudy Glow Rouge Lip Glosses.
There’s five in the set, I chose two:
Nude Lips are my natural, spiritual home! Its my favourite kind of lip colour followed by peach, then a soft pink. Probably because I prefer stronger eye make up.
The Canmake Nudy Lipgloss is supposed to contain plumping ingredients and moisturizing ingredients:
Sodium hyaluronate, atelocollagen, royal jelly extract, rosemary extract, oriental wormwood extract, loquat leaf extract
They sure look pretty in the tube!
Swatches:
I chose these two shades because I wanted something in a beige tone and something in a pink tone.
Now – although these look gorgeous in the tube I did struggle with them a little when applying. They aren’t particularly sheer or shimmery so when applied, they are a little unforgiving on any dryness or creases in the lip.
No. 3 Brownie Chocolate:
This is wearable but not overpowering. I still have some reservations about it though – it just doesn’t look as smooth as I’d like.
No. 5 Honey Latte:
This was much lighter to wear and quite difficult to blend in so it didn’t look too light and unnatural.
This would be good to tone down strong lips and great if you like a REALLY nude lip but once again, I found it someone hard to work with…its not a nude you can just ‘slap on’.
Verdict:
I think its a decent product and the idea is there, but its just not as flattering on the lips as I had hoped.

would you say they’re too pigmented, or the formula should be more liquid in order to be easier to blend?

They swatch beautifully, it’s a pity that they sink into lip lines :[
