I like Dr Bronner product quite a lot – I bought some of his Magic Soap a while ago and it was pretty cool (its a liquid soap that can be used for all kinds of things – body wash, shampoo, face wash, hand wash etc.) Its basically Castile soap (made with Olive Oil)…its not very easy to make yourself but maybe one day I’ll teach you how…
Anyway here is the Dr Bronner Organic Balm in Peppermint and Patchouli Lime, and the organic lip balms:
I am a lip balm addict! Who isn’t. But when I need one, despite have about 30 lipbalms, I can never find one.
The Dr Bronner lip balm feels quite soft and rich on the lips which I like – I don’t like balms that leave a pathetic oily layer on the lips and thats it. This balm worked very well, whilst its no anything madly exciting it just does its job well.
I thought the body balms in the tin quite interesting. I use balms to apply to very dry areas and the lips, but this one actually saved my nose.
I got this as I had a really bad cold, and the skin was flaking off around my nose. I kept applying this product all over the area (and wiping it off again when I sneezed, d’oh) but it soothed it no end:
Both products are well worth looking into if you are interested in trying organic products or just looking for a really effective balm without parabens and lots of additives. I have cut out a lot of the usual dyes and preservatives, and foaming agents from my skincare and its like second nature to me now.
You can buy the Lip Balm from Eco Hamster (love this online store) for £2.45, the body balms are £3.95.

do you think it’s worth getting? its pretty pricey for lipbalm. I have lipbalm around me all the time, my current fav is free of chemicals and costs US$3. But i’m always keen to try new lipbalm.
