I have palette No. 6 here:
It’s a cute palette, it reminds me of the 88 palettes in that the shadows are round domes.
Swatches:
The pale shades are weaker as you can see from the swatches and are somewhat powdery. The darker shades are much better, the black, brown, pink, purple are quite pigmented.
The finish is matte – it would be nice to have some shimmer somewhere in the palette.
Priced at £3.99 it’s definitely a good choice for young uns, although to be totally critical, a Sleek palette is more pigmented and has more variation for £5.99 (the price has gone up but people keep reporting different prices to me, I paid £5.99 last time though!)
Alsooooo if I was being very critical, the 88 pan palettes now have many many variations and can be purchased for as little as £10 if you know where to look so…..
But don’t get me wrong! As a little perky pick me up it’s decent enough and the price of a large chocolate fudge cake from Cafe Nero.
