**If there is one beauty product I go through quickly it’s shampoo as I wash my hair pretty much every day. For the next 8 days there will reviews from products that I have used for at least 3 weeks each. My hair type is dry, frizzy and coloured**

Organic Surge really is a great little affordable brand that sells bodycare, skincare and haircare! A lot of the shampoos I’ve reviewed haven’t been that cheap but this one at £4.99 is great.

What’s also so good about their products is that they’re affordable and don’t contains things like SLS which can cause scalp irritation.

They say:

Colour Protect conditioner blends intense natural moisturisers with lychee extract, which is scientifically proven to prolong the radiance of colour-treated hair and improve manageability, leaving it looking softer, shinier and more vibrant. Organic Surge conditioner is free from harsh foaming agents that strip hair of its natural oils and can cause scalp irritation.

Is it any good?I have to say both the shampoo and conditioner are great for the price.

I love the packaging – it’s bright and spunky, and I like the tube design as it’s easy enough to get the product out.

Both products smell nice and work quite well too. I noticed a tiny bit of itching after using the shampoo but this faded away once my hair had dried. In terms of colour preservation – I’m not sure. My colour faded as it normally did but not in a dramatic way – it retained it’s shine and gloss anyhow.

The conditioner I liked as it was nice and thick – however – I felt that it left a bit of a residue (even with lots of rinsing) because my got greasy pretty quickly after using this product.

Despite this I really like this range and these products are an affordable way to get SLS, cruelty free shampoo and conditioner.

Shampoo Rating: 4/5
