It’s Easter weekend, ladies! I started my weekend of glamour off by going to B&Q for a plunger – don’t ask. And what did I wear to B&Q – why Urban Decay!

Love Urban Decay. It’s one of the more affordable but high quality brands out there. Haulage, and as you can see, my nosy cat wanted to get involved:

Pocket Rocket Lip Gloss

They say:

Undress our men with the flick of your wrist! Inside the cap of our custom tube is a photo of a yummy man. Tilt the tube back-and-forth to strip them to their undies! (We’ve even included front and rear photos.) Whether you swoon for a future senator or a tree-hugger, one of our men is sure to please you. Our guys make awesome gifts for bachelorette parties, baby showers, or b-days.

And the gloss? This formula is so slick and cushiony, you would love it even in a plain ol’ tube. Each shade varies in opacity and finish, but all have a sweet crème brûlée flavor. The formula contains Hyaluronic Spheres, known to improve cellular function, prevent dehydration, and fill in lines and wrinkles. The brush applicator is ideal for blending.

Need to lure a real man? Give the tube a rub to release pheromones into the air! Undetectable to the smell, pheromones enhance mood and sexual attraction. The flat tube slides right into your pocket!

I got David, a sheer mauve. It looks strong in the tube, it’s actually a natural rose:

DAVID

David is a hard-working man: at work, in the gym, and most importantly, in bed. After a grueling 60-hour week, he still has the energy to come over and put his 110% into you. Undress him to inspect your benefits package.

More realistic:

Mike

Mike is a hard-working man: at work he surfs the net all day, and he’s resourceful – at home he will finish all the food you don’t want and even all the food you do. After playing on the Playstation all day, he will invest 10% energy into talking to you doing his best to not glaze over. Undress him to reveal a nice fleshy cushion, ideal for resting your feet on.

You even get the backside!!!!

IMG_25180000.JPG

David smells of Creme Brulee. To me, it smells more like the slightly burnt crust of an apple pie – it is a STRONG scent, very authentic and fades after a while which is good as its too strong to linger all day.

I really like this lipgloss. I though it would be too bright but it’s a really nice colour. Obviously, there is the gimmick being the scent, the packaging and the naked dude (oh, and the hormones!) but underneath all of that is a very long lasting, pretty gloss. It’s fun too, something to talk about (I actually actively showed about 6 people my gloss) – would be a fab gift for a lady friend.

Swatch:

Verdict: Lip gloss + Naked Man = What’s not to love?!

There’s quite a few other men – I mean, er, colours to choose from here.

I also got two glitter (heavy metal liners) – really nice liners. I have some more here.

Three new liners, flipside, graffiti and ransom:

Green is Graffiti, Flipside is the blue and Ransom is the purple:

I was really looking forward to Ransom in particular because UD was lacking a true purple in the pencils. All of these pencils are HAWT. 24/7 are my favourite pencils anyway and these are just as lovely as the current shades.

I did a review of all the colours I currently have here.

I’ve never bought the Cream Eyeshadows before! I am a big big big fan of cream eyeshadows so I am hyper critical of them.

They say:

Cream Shadow channels the sex appeal of the 70’s and the science of today! Whipped to perfection, each shimmering shade dries to a weightless layer of color that will not crease, fade, or hide in fine lines. Unlike most cream shadows, our gel-based formula features silicone technology, allowing time to blend, correct and smudge. Once dry, shadow is light and as flexible as your own skin.

The tube is travel-friendly and mess-free. Use the attached flocked applicator to shade the entire lid. Or, get artistic and squeeze Cream right from the tube: you can also apply Cream with your fingertips or your own brushes!

Tips: • A little goes a long way! To build your color, apply a thin coat, let dry, and apply additional coats to get the color you desire. • Staying power is enhanced when used in conjunction with Eyeshadow Primer Potion! • If there’s a powder shadow and a Cream in your look for the day, apply your Cream shadow first for the best blending experience. • Try mixing pink or gold shades into foundation for a fresh, dewy look.

I got Radium (blue) Delinquent (purple) Sphynx (pink) and Midnight Rodeo (champange):

Pros:

The sponge applicator makes it easy to apply colour on the go – although I got a lot more control when using it with a brush.

The texture is quite light, so there was no dryness, and it didn’t feel uncomfortable at all.

The colours are easy to blend and you have lots of time to blend it (as they mention in the description).

Cons:

The colours are not as vivid as I had liked although you can layer them.

The cream shadow is not a dry-to-powder formula, so it doesn’t set properly. Therefore it doesn’t last as long as the ones that do, and it takes a bit longer to set.

Now – these are my personal cons based on other cream shadows I like – but to be fair UD did say in their description that this shadow doesn’t set immediately and is designed to be layered.

I did a look with flipside pencil, radium shadow and midnight rodeo:

Flipside is gorgeous isn’t it?

You can see the whole collection here, and buy from Boots for the points!

No matter how beautiful David may be, I don’t want anyone putting their “110%” into me! Oh such inneuendo. Do love a bit of UD though, the pencil looks gorgeous. I love how you can work a bright eye and pink lip – I look like a small child or a doll if I attempt it, need to get a bit of holiday skin on the face am a bit luminescent at the moment! xxx

Hi Elizabeth

UD is a cheeky brand like that, innit? Yeah I’ll rock any colours, I just don’t care! Although I probably look like a crazy woman walking down the street, but then what do they know.

Hi Row!
Amazingly enough I’ve just bought Flipside today as well as Underground – I love these pencils too. Do you think Ransom is jewel like or pastelly (hate pastels)
Have you tried the new Esteé Lauder Longwear pencils (loving Forest) anf cream shadows?

Hi Zereen!

Flipside is HAWT! Ransom the pencil? No, not pastelly at all. It is a dark purple either but not pastel, no no. They don’t really have that many pastelly pencils – I’m not really into them either!

I haven’t tried Estee Lauder I haven’t used their brand for yonks but I am tempted! x
