Remember mood rings? So stylish:
I thought they were magic. They never seemed to change a variety of colours for me, always blue or green.
Well, Trish McEvoy’s Instant Pick Me Up For Lips isn’t quite mood changing but it does adapt to a certain shade of pink on your lips.
Instant Pick-Me-Up Lips is the perfect bright pink lip tint that goes on glossy then adapts to lips as a long-wearing stain.
I reviewed a similar product, Smashbox’s O Gloss ages ago – it went bright, bright scary pink which didn’t really like.
Trish’s Pick Me Up is apparently one of their best selling products. It comes in a neat black pen and can be used on its own or on top of lipstick or as a pick me up (when your existing lip colour is looking a bit flat).
As expected this is actually clear:
Its not too runny, not too thick. Its the tiniest bit sticky which I prefer as it tends to stay put on me.
I applied to to my bare lips and it started warming up within seconds. Left for a full ten minutes to see if I’d have some scary lip going on and thankfully, this didn’t happen:
Overall effect is quite natural and easy to wear, quite comfortable too. I would definitely use this during summer and also half way through the day when I’m feeling sluggish – it did perk up my face, even though it was in quite a natural manner.

I saw the same product few years ago in Avon. It was a lip gloss with adapted to your lips pik color. But it was too greazy for me ((
As to the magic rings – mine was orange to yellow all the time…
