My wallet wept when I found out that luxurious Japanese beauty brand, Suqqu is launching a boutique counter in Selfridges & Co. Manchester Exchange Square on the 27th September 2011. I’ve been buying nearly all my make up online – it’s just easier, but Suqqu’s new counter will definitely get me shopping in store again!
Suqqu comes from the Japanese word ‘Sukku-to’ meaning; walking tall on your journey through life, inspiring a confidence in attitude and beauty.
Meanwhile, Suqqu’s signature Gankin facial massage (which is supposed to ‘lift’ the face and alleviate tension) will also be available for £40, and for 2 weeks only, it is half price, £20. Am I going for a Gankin? Yes! It’ll get booked up quickly so get your skates on!

Oh, forgot to say, in terms of price, we understand that might be one of your concerns. What I can say from my experience of using their products, also loads of other major brands in Selfridges, SUQQU products are at very top quality, presented in a very sophisticated and high end way, and very importantly, a little bit usually goes a long way, some products that are at high price (e.g. foundation) are actually a 3 in 1 products, which saves you money.
