…that is a lot of p’s.

Urban Decay has some stonking new products out for Autumn 2009 – I got my mitts on some of them (there’s always good offers on at Boots). One of the first products I am reviewing is the Urban Decay Pore Perfecting Primer (£15.00):

UDPP (Urban Decay Primer Potion) is of course one of the first and most coveted eyeshadow primers out there. These days there are a few great primers to choose from but a lot of people still swear but good old UDPP. I can see why Urban Decay have decided to increase their primer product range….

I could do with some pore perfecting! See my before and after…..
You twist the lid and squeeze the product out. Took me a second to get it, but its a great idea – hygienic and doesn’t waste any product. This primer is a little whitish, a bit like a gel….

I am not mad about silicone primers as it makes me break out. This primer is not by any means a thin one but it doesn’t feel too heavy to clog my pores up either.

They say:

Smooth on a little Pore Perfecting Complexion Primer Potion before foundation (or alone!) to totally minimize the look of pores and fine lines. The velvety, paraben-free formula flashes down to a soft-matte finish, without the greasy, heavy feel sometimes associated with foundation primers.

I only applied to this my cheeks where I have more visible pores:

Argh! turning white…don’t worry, it fades. If you are scared of something that has a pale tinge, then you may not like this – however, once foundation is on top it doesn’t make too much of a difference.

The result is a smoother base and less visible pores without being too heavy. I do have other primers which cover pores up better, like this one but the UD one can be used all over for a smooth look.

Its £15.00 from Boots!
