Urban Decay have just launched these Ink For Eyes Cream Eyeliners in the UK – five shades (we are missing Pyrotechnic, a sparkly white which the US ladies have).

Check out the imagery, which is super hot:

It’s make up like that makes me want to walk around with my eyes closed….

Here are my beauties! The most obvious things about this is the unusual shape of the packaging (reminds me of Bourjois Ombre Streettccchhh eyeshadow!) – they are very long and actually quite easy to slid in the make up bag. Inside is a mirror and dual ended compact, an angled side and a sponge for a smudgy effect:

See the swatches after the jump!……
Urban Decay Say:

What’s our secret ingredient? Nylon 12! This high-tech polymer decreases drag for flawless application (no skips or smears), while softening and absorbing excess oil. Color glides easily and stays true all day long. And, the formula is paraben-free!

Creamy? Soft? Long lasting? I’ll be the judge of that!

Here are the four colours I got -

Zero (black) – UD have kept the same names for this product as they have for their shadows and eyeliners (in black):

The black is creamy and soft with a slight sheen. It would make a wonderful base for loose pigment shadows….

Loaded is a deep foresty green, and requires a little more work to get the pigment off. Its a good idea to warm these liners up a bit or work them with the brush before applying:

There’s no sparkles in any of these inks:

Then there is Binge which is a very dark blue:

This comes out as a strong navy:

Next is brown, Demolition:

This one is also very creamy and soft, and pigmented too:

Once they have dried (and it does take a minute to), it is long lasting and works well even on the waterline.

These are on the creamy side – I think they are best used like cream eyeshadows or as really smudgy, soft rock chick liners. As always with Urban Decay’s liners, they are well worth getting especially if you love liners (like I do!).

These are on sale in Boots, www.lookfantastic.com, www.asos.com etc. for £14.
