I am trying to get RID of my foundations, not buy more but like a cat that keeps sniffing other cats butts, I just can’t help myself.
I got a sachet for the Teint Idole and used it the other day when I was in a rush and the child (not mine before you ask) and the other half told me they liked it.
Other half: Wow, what you are you wearing? Your skin looks great.
Followed by child: Are you even wearing foundation?
Needless to say, I ran to Lancome to pick up this foundation in 04 Beige Nature:
This foundation is actually a matte finish (although I didn’t personally find it very matte – there was still a light glow to my skin) and the finish is flawless (see here). It lasts and lasts and just makes you look polished.
Have I found a new foundation love? Oh yes, oh yes. No more dipped in lard look for me, and ideal for the summer as this stuff keeps the oilies at bay and just looks really clean and flawless.
One thing I really don’t like is how purfumed Lancome’s base and skincare products – its like swimming in scent sometimes which I absolutely do not like. However – I have had no allergies with this foundation so I’ll accept it.
My other two loves include RMK (more of a dewy look) and La Mer (stunning for photography).
It cost me about £27 from a scary woman in John Lewis’.

I was going to invest in an airbrush and compressor, but I think I’ll give this foundation a try, first. I’ve not had much luck with Lancome foundation before. I wore the brand in highschool, but back then it was difficult to get a decent color match. I think £27 is a bit steep; the stuff costs $4 less here in the states, and I have a coupon for 10% off my next Sephora purchase, so I’ll try to pop into Sephora this week.

Hey pandy
let me know what you think? I do think this is a great foundation, even more so if you are a bit oily. I am thinking of using my SKII airbrush but not using their foundation, perhaps squeezing out their base and putting this stuff in the pouch instead?
