Two things you can’t have enough of. Reeces Peanut Butter Cups and Lip Balm. I have far too many lip balms already but I couldn’t resist another not with a name like Rosa Fina! Scented with Persian Rose and Cardamom, no less! It sounds like the perfect ice cream.

They say:

Rosa Fina smooch penetrating lip salve contains:

* rosa mosqueta and jojoba oils are conditioning and protecting.
* rice wax contains tocotrienols which actively help skin to maintain integrity and fight free radicals
* olive squalene is intensively moisturising.
* vitamins B5, E are healing and soothing.

Overall I like this lipbalm. I love the rose scent, and I like the squeezy tube – tubs are always a little unhygienic – and the texture is light and glossy so its a good day to day gloss. Not buttery enough for me as a night time lip gloss but a good alternative in the day to clear gloss ( I don’t see any pigment in the balm). Its light enough to put under or over a lip colour too.

It smells FAB, but it doesn’t taste so great – beware, lip lickers!

The other thing I noticed is a slightly gritty texture at first – off putting but this is actually the rice wax which takes a bit of time once its on to melt on the lips. It doesn’t look weird but it may feel a bit strange at first. When the product is warmed up a bit first, its less apparent (I noticed when I kept it in my pocket).

Overall though a nice lip balm made with good quality ingredients. Its £11.95 smackers for 15ml from here.
