Drugstore foundation? What’s that?
I am a self confessed foundation addict, and I do tend to go for the high end brands – I just prefer the finish and I have very sensitive skin. I could be persuaded otherwise my Myface’s liquid foundation:

Myface splits its base products into different categories, for light, medium, medium dark and dark skintones – making it easier for you to choose.
The texture of this foundation is pretty liquid but the coverage is medium-sheer. Its not quite a tinted moisturizer but its not quite a high coverage foundation – its a good, quick day to day foundation:
The result is glowy and soft focus. I like it a lot, although for it to last, i do need to powder (I am actually a bit fan of their pressed powders as they are airy light and affordable).
Smoothed on the skin:
See how the finish is rather lovely? There’s no noticeable scent (why scent foundation?! Honestly!) and its not oily either. A good affordable foundation which I imagine would work for a lot of women.

How long did it last with powder?

Hi Chica! With powder (their powder is excellent – myface in medium as its very translucent) lasted all day! 7-8 hours.

I can see the foundation gives such great coverage! and it doesn’t look shiny at all! I love the matte finish yet has a nice glow
