Illamasqua’s Spring 2011 collection is called Toxic Nature and having had a sneak peak last week at their blogger event I have to say it’s a really nice turn for the brand. For one thing, there’s a softness which appeals to me.
Unpredictable, uncharted and unnatural, Illamasqua unleashes Toxic Nature for Spring/Summer 2011, a colour collection born from a visionary concept of nature fighting back against the genetically modified society that plunders it.
I have a few swatches for thee, if you haven’t seen them already!
Cream Pigments £17 each:
Emerge – Peach [EU only]
Bedaub – Mint
Dab – Lilac
Hollow – Toffee
Delirium – Rose Taupe [EU only]
Mould – Grape
My number 1 pigment having seen them in person is Delirium – which is a totally beautiful taupey rose (as the name suggests!) but the photos don’t do it justice.
Also swatched:
Lipstick – £15.50
Atomic – Fuchsia violet
Flare – Bright orange
Sheer Lipgloss – £13.00
Torture – Coral Peach
Divine – Fuchsia Pink
The stand out product for me is a nude liquid liner with tons of pinkish hued sparkles:
Precision Ink in ‘Glister’ – £17.00
Nail Varnish – £13.50
Purity – Peach
Bacterium – Pearlescent Ash Ochre
Radium – Acidic Lime Shimmer
Stagnate – Grey Mauve
Gamma – Neon orange
Radium is my favourite followed by Bacterium which is such an unusual pearly browny bluey…god knows. But I like it.
The collection goes like on Thursday 10th March online or the week after on the 17th March on counters.

I really want bacterium. That sounds wrong
I think Mould, delerium and hollow are really nice. I read somewhere you can use the pigments to put streaks in your hair which looked cool.
