I have my eye on Chanel Mat Lumiere Foundation and their Loose Powder (yeah I know, another foundation), then with a bit of browsing realised Debenhams (John Lewis’ ugly sister) is doing their Summer Spectacular – its 25% things in store, 10% off cosmetics and fragrances.
I don’t what it is Debenhams, or the one near me anyway, that feels so dirty when I go in.
Everything is jumbled, the lights are too low, I feel entirely uninspired to ever browse for shoes and clothes there. Not that John Lewis’ inspires me to clothes shop but at least I can look at their kitchenware and go, “Ooh I’ll buy all that when I grow up”.
Anyhow – its 10% off, and when you spend £25 you get a £5 voucher for next time.
So my beauty bargain brain says:
Buy foundation with 10% off, then use the voucher to buy the loose powder. Probably save about £8 which is better than…not saving £8.

The little savings do add up when you’re beauty junkies like us!
I had a little spend in there today and picked up Nouvelle Vague and Mistral nail polishes from the new Chanel collection, as well a bottle of the new Soleil Tan de Chanel Illuminating Fluid. All beautiful. Grabbed a Dior highlighter too, in the Amber shade.
But I was really upset to see that it doesn’t look like they’re going to be releasing the new Aqualumiere Gloss, Bondi Beach, with the Chanel collection over here =( Grrrr!
Sorry to go on, just wanted to share!
