Kiss Me Japan has such an amazing range of brands and products such as Heroine Make and Heavy Rotation!. I bought some of these cheap and cheerful lip balms (I’m addicted to them) from the Moist Lip range.

They say:

Kiss Me SPF 15 PA++ Moist Lip Natural Hyaluronic Acid Collagen is a lip balm in a portable stick. Enriched with hyaluronic acid, it moistens your lips with long lasting effect.

Once applied the balm will form a thin protective layer on your lips to prevent chapped and cracked lips and SPF 15 will keep your lips away from the harmful free-radical damage, leaving your lips moist, radiant and supple.

I have two, Cherry Red and BB which is a nude beige shade.

These are not very pigmented – there’s no point buying these if you want quite a lot of colour.

However these are a nice texture – quite creamy and soft:

Most importantly – these lip balms kept my lips in brilliant condition. I can usually tell the following day if a lip balm was more of a superficial treatment or something more nourishing. With this lip balm I had less flaking the next day and lines were less visible.

Like I said before, despite how they appear they’re not very tinted but it’s ok if you like the natural look:

Verdict:

These lip balms also have the added bonus of a SPF15 which means they’ll be quite good for the summer too! There’s also a pink version and a plain one with no colour. They cost about £3.30 on eBay so I’d highly recommend these if you want something simple that really seems to work. Adambeauty.com also sells the whole range of these lip balms.
