A little skincare routine update: Origins Dr Weil and Planscription False Start!

I already declared my love for the SkinCeutials skincare range but I must take a quick interlude to tell you that I took a break from it to try out a well known range – Dr Andrew Weil (Face lotion and face cream) which is for sensitive skin and the very famous Plantscription which is an anti aging serum.

I believe the serum is really aimed at people in their late 30s+ so I am too young for it, but nevertheless…I used this range for about 2 weeks but it really disagreed with my skin.  I found it wasn’t hydrating enough (that’s with the serum AND cream) and left me with some red lumps on my skin.

Origins Dr Weil Skincare Planscription

However – I think the range is well worth reviewing (especially Plantscription which has so many positive reviews) so I am passing this on to my aunt to test and I am going to photograph her progress to, perhaps over a period of 2 months and report back to you.  Also I think the range may suit her skin better since she is in the better age group for the serum.

My skincare routine, at the very moment in time, has changed again – I will report back to you and tell you what it consists of and WHY very soon!

*The range was sent by PR for consideration.

Oooooh. I’m 25, I tried the serum as well, and it disagreed with my skin too. It actually worked pretty well for the first week or two, then it didn’t feel hydrating enough and gave me some small red bumps too. Hmmm!

Same here with the lack of hydration (I’m 28) with the Planscription, it did work really well for a week or two of using a sample and I was contemplating on getting a full size, but then it seemed to irritate my skin slightly, and I started getting small dry patches and little bumps under the skin :( So I’ve now recommended this to my aunt too!

Hi Elle!

That’s really interesting that you prefered the guardian range! I am going to give this to my mum or maybe auntie to use!
