Natio is a “natural” Australian brand which recently parked its bum in Debenhams.
I was sent this Mineral Illuminating Powder to test.
They say:
A light reflecting powder that instantly lifts and brightens skin tone.
Iridescent highlights draw attention to the skin leaving it fresh and radiant looking.
This Illuminating Powder comes with a brush on the top of the case. The powder doesn’t come through to the top of the brush (as I thought), you have to tip some of the powder out and dip the brush into it.
FYI: The brush is just horrible – scratchy and hard to use.
I like a good illuminating powder, but I do think this comes in a awkward case – its a little too clunky, a little too large.
The product itself is quite nice:
It’s a nice, if not slightly typical, white pearl shade. It blends well into the skin, leaving a soft sheen although I think it might look a little chalky on darker skinned ladies (they do a bronze version too):
On my cheekbone – I was quite happy with the overall look and result, quite soft, natural and glowy. I used their brush for this:
Now, Naito is a natural beauty company (whatever that means!) .
The product is free from talc, parabens, dyes and preservatives but it DOES disappointingly contain Bismuth Oxychloride which makes a lot of people itch:
Verdict:
Hate the packaging, hate the brush. Product itself is quite nice once on the skin, althought..I think there are better illuminators out there for the price.
The powder is £19 from Debenhams.
