2. Chinese dish would you love to know how to cook? My nana makes amazing hand made noodles with peanuts, shrimp and mushrooms – it’s so hard to make but I will get her to show me one day.

3. What is signature dish? I am good at stews, I make a great Kimchi stew, and great chicken stew with dumplings on top (not Chinese dishes but still tasty!).

Method 2.

Follow me on Twitter and retweet (RT) the following message:

Ooh, would love to have a look at the Cooking Nana blog when it’s ready! Cooking blogs are more helpful than a simple recipe book since it contains all sorts of little tips + photos!!

1. What is your favourite Chinese dish?

Roasted duck; I LOVE duck. So any duck dish. Oh, and I’m also crazy about xiao long bao – the good proper one with enough soup inside!

2. Chinese dish would you love to know how to cook?

Hainenese (is this how you spell this..?) Chicken Rice; my friend cooked it from scratch for me once and it was absolutely delicious! Would love to recreate that taste.

I’m also quite interested in the Chinese moon cake for the moon festival; I’ve heard that it’s a rather long process but would love to learn.

3. What is signature dish that you can make?

Since I’m Korean, I can do most mainstream meat dishes like marinated beef, spicy pork & deep fried chicken in spicy sauce etc.

But because it take so much time and effort for the end product, I do prefer simple pastas with olive oil based sauce & caprese.

What is my favourite dish? Monks’ vegetables.

The dish I wish I could cook is not a dish – it’s black bean sauce, which seems to make all vegetables taste wonderful.

And my signature dish is a mean tiramisu cheesecake!

I wish I could cook shredded pork with stiff bean curd slices (supposedly simple :P ).

Signature dish: chicken simmered in a soy sauce, garlic, ginger stew.
