Benefit is famous for their BADGal mascara – well get ready ladies, as they’re new baby, ‘They’re Real’ mascara will be launched on the 13th of August (online and in boutiques) and nationwide on the 27th August….

However – can’t wait?  Benefit will be having a number of ‘flash sales’ on Saturday 6th August (2011, incase you are a time traveller).

Benefit Cosmetics what s new theyre real mascara

The following 10 stores will have the mascara on the 6th August for one day only:

London Benefit Boutiques in Spitalfields Market and Covent Garden

House of Fraser – Glasgow

John Lewis Oxford Street

Boots – Nottingham

Boots Market Street – Manchester

Debenhams; Belfast, Brighton, Chelmsford, Henry St. Dublin, Mahon Point, Cork and Swansea.

I have a sample but I haven’t tried it yet.  It looks like the brush is rubber, and has a spiky end so you can comb through the ends and fine hairs.  It has a glossy finish (BADgal is matte) and lifts and adds length whereas BADgal is abot the volume.

What do you think? Will you try this mascara?

I would love to try this for the wedding make-up I am going to do, but it’s 5th August. One bloody day, typical!

I got a deluxe sample of this and I love it. I don’t think it’s supposed to be a curling formula, but it definitely made my lashes look curled and they stayed that way all day. It’s very black and glossy and didn’t clump or flake. Definitely worth trying for anyone that’s curious.

This flakes on me a ton, which is a shame, because it’s really nice on. But I can’t abide by flakes in my eyes and all over my face through the day!

Sarah- weird, it didn’t flake on me at all. That sucks. I have a friend that tried it and she said that her sample was unmistakably *brown*… and it only comes in black. Makes me wonder if there’s some inconsistency in the quality.

I sure hope this mascara is worth all the hype!
And the model’s, er, chest area looks super creepy in the promo…

Glossy black mascara sounds good, but if it does flake then that’s a big no-no for me :( The model reminds me of Megan Fox!
