I have an obsession at the moment to Korean cosmetics – mostly Skinfood and Etude House. I saw this rather cute highlighter pen and decided ti would help me get one step closer to becoming a secret agent:

Code B Bright Eyes Highlighter. I have wanted Trish McEvoy’s and Laura Mercier’s for a while but they are expensive – around £27 I believe. This cost me £8 from eBay:

Screw secret agent work. I need to apply my concealer first *click click*

See the results after the jump!

The first thing is the brush. Its thick, its soft, its lovely. Brushes that come with these kind of things tend to be a bit weedy (like the Touche Eclat one) – not this brush. Its thick and it blends like a dream:

Click Click! I hate pens that don’t dispense things properly. You know how your twizzle (is that a word?) it, and twizzle it because nothing comes out then BOOM! All the product spurts out and you start furiously applying it to your lips and woahhhh – suddenly your’re strippertastic.

Anyway this product is great. One click equals one portion (yes portion) of product. It reveals itself so you don’t end up clicking it over and over like a crazy person.

I thought this was more an undereye concealer. Nope – its a light light pink – its a highlighter alright:

Its light textured and easy to blend. Now I know it looks really scary and pale but it actually blends really nicely. I am a NC35 which is fairly olive but it looks fine on me:

So you aren’t going to paint this all over your face, but it works a treat under the eyes, the outer v around the eyes, down the nose etc.

On my tired tired eye:

I am surprised by how good this is. I am always buying bits of junk to try out (research, darling) and most of it fails. This is a really nifty little highlighter that works a treat and blends away well.

It was enough for my circles but if you look like Benicio Del Toro, then you’re gonna need more than just this. But for a highlight here and there – its bootiful!

Find it on eBay – prices are around £8 including shipping.
