Bare Minerals Rocker Eye Kit

I have never tried Bare Minerals before – its not that big in the UK but I have seen this kit around before. This kit costs £28 in the UK and comes with 3 pigments and a brush.

A Double-Ended Rock ‘N’ Roll Brush

The smudge end sweeps and pats bareMinerals on the eyelid as base and crease contour shades.

The pointed end, which can be used wet or dry, sweeps bareMinerals on the upper, lower and inner lash lines for a dramatic frame.

The brush is cool – it has one end which is like a firm shader then one is pointed for lining.

I have a lot of MAC pigments but I don’t even use them that much – it’s messy and I like things quick and easy. But boy – these pigments are

GORGEOUS.

There are all kinds of blacks, greys, smoky shades, but these are pure sparkle, pure glamour. The black is great but for me its the gunmetal shade 1980s which is the jewel in the crown.

I guess you are playing with highly pigmented and dark colours here so start with a light hand and for gods sake, use a primer! I use a primer every single day, otherwise make up would not last on my face but even more so with loose pigments, you need a nice wet base (I like Art Deco) and a bit of water if you really want it to stick.
