Wanna win?

Method 1.

Answer the following question. Last week Cheryl Cole Tweedy Whatever was fired from the US X-Factor because apparently people couldn’t understand her and she mistaken for Chewbacca once too often. So the question is:

What accent tickles your fancy?

What accent does not?

The Southern Irish accent is just beautiful. On a beautiful man might I add.

Ooh heck. I’d say anything that’s very hard to understand, especially if it’s a very fast language or fast speaker in question. Ooh and really posh accents, so posh you can almost pull ponies out of your ears.

Method 2.

Follow me on Twitter and retweet (RT) the following message:

“RT @cosmetic_candy: Follow & RT to win a Fake Bake Geordie Shore Kit. Info: http://tinyurl.com/4xdf4ll”

*Note: if you change the tweet, it will not count as an entry. People still keep doing it I will keep ignoring!

Good Luck!

Winners will be contacted shortly after the competition ends (in 10 days). If the winner doesn’t reply within 2 days the prize will go to the next person.

Prize will be sent out by PR and it will be sent recorded. There is NO cash value in the prize to you – you haven’t spent any money on it so if for some strange reason it doesn’t arrive we have proof of shipping and out of goodwill the prize may be replaced but this is not a given.

Prizes are usually sent out within 5 days of a competition end but please allow up to 28 days. I do actually have a job and a life beyond going to the post office. Sort of.

Love you all lots, enter and have fun!

I loved Geordie Shore last week. Best wildlife documentary i’ve seen in ages! Seriously – i love reality TV trash and this promises to be very trashy if the 1st ep was anything to go by.
Fav accent is South African – don’t know why – but it’s very virile.
Worst accent – well i’d hate to speak like any of the women in TOWIE so it has to be that – “shut uuuuup”.

  2. Charlotte W says

I watched Geordie Shore yesterday, it’s exactly like Jersey Shore just not as funny and more in club fights.
My favourite accent is definitely Londoners accents, I love how they just have a cockney accent- so cute.
My least favourite accent is definiely whiney americans. I don’t mind american accents it’s just the high pitched whiney ones -_-

  4. Rhonda says

I love Geordie accents (but then again I’m from Newcastle so I’m probably biased lol) but I love hearing Alan Shearer talk.

I don’t like the scouse accent, it grates on me!

  5. Claire says

I agree, I love the Irish accent!…even if I can’t always understand it 😛 I’m not a fan on the Australian accent though…

  6. Linzi says

I loooove the Irish accent too… i like most strong English accents – Newcastle, Manchester, Liverpool etc. Not a fan of French or German…
    LOVE Geordie Shore 😀

  7. Julie Brett says

I like an Irish accent, it can be quite sexy but not keen on any others, I can never tell them apart anyway

  8. FionaLynne Edwards says

I really love a Scottish accent – particularly on a man. I fell in love with John Hannah purely for that reason! I don’t like a Geordie accent – sorry!

  11. laura hyland says

I love the accent of the southern states of America – so soft and sultry. I can’t really find it in me to appreciate the Australian accent – sorry cobber.

  12. Gordita says

I’ve never watched it, it’s not my thing!
Accents I love, hmm… I don’t know! I like most accents. I like Russian, Spanish, French, etc. Eurovision was great – when they announced the points, I enjoyed listening to the various accents. Ooh, Scottish can be quite nice.
Accents I loathe: I dislike a very strong Australian accent – it grates on me – and, due to spending too much time with someone from there, the Californian accent. ARGH! Especially accompanied with “Hey girl!” I HAVE A NAME, AND IT IS NOT “GIRL”.

Thanks for yet another great comp!!

First of all, as a Geordie born and bred like you, I totally disagree with the US for sacking our lovely Cheryl because of her accent! My favourite accent is OUR GEORDIE accent – because it is friendly and down to earth!!!

I am not to keen on Scottish accents – why – simple because they swear more, are harder to understand and use a lot of weird terms!!!

Sorry to any Scottish people on here – but it is my personal opinion xxx

  18. Jen says

I’ve not watched Geordie Shore, just reading about it is enough to put me off watching it! I’ve been watching Made in Chelsea, and even though it’s quite staged and has been panned, I can’t stop watching it now!

I love all accents, I find it so interesting how every accent has it’s own character…I think if I had to pick my favourite it would be a French accent…spoken by a handsome Frenchman preferably lol

I don’t really hate a particular accent, it depends more on how annoying the person is to be honest!

  19. says

I LOVE Irish accents (mainly ROI accents) except maybe a strong limerick accent, I like the Manchester accent and a light Glaswegian accent.
