VOV Showcase Lip Play Gloss Review & Swatches

Another Korean brand I have been taking interest in is I bought these cute VOV! Their stuff seems quite affordable and very varied.

I purchased these Showcase Lip Play glosses because the packaging was so cute! No idea why they’re called Showcase though…

Here is the shade range! These shimmer free glosses look kind of milky from the swatches which I like as a nice change from glitter!

Can you guess which 2 shades I picked?!

Here are the glosses:

I picked 04 Pink Ray a pale milky pink and 10 Cherry Chew a hot pink. Nice contrast between the two I thought!

I love the packaging! I think it’s the dotty lid that did it:

I also like the applicators that are sponge tips with a heart shape – really nice to use on the lips:

I think these colours are fairly pigmented! Pink Ray is a milky pink and cherry chew is a pretty hot pink:

On the lips – they are not as pigmented. I prefer other glosses I’ve bought recently like Melliesh.

The light pink is quite nice, not too in your face pale but not really special:

The hot pink is a little sheer and unremarkable on the lips:

So basically I love the packaging, I love the applicator but the colours aren’t pigmented enough for me – someone who prefers juicy sheer colour would like these though!

I got these for around £9 each on eBay.
