When someone says Victorinox the first thing you think of is Swiss army knives, right? I purchased one for Mr C once, and he still uses it all the time now for various tasks…you never know when you’ll need something sharp!
I was surprised to find out that the brand also has a range of fragrances. Victoria Eau Du Toilette is; Swiss Army Victoria expresses the personality of a modern woman, endowed with an innate sense of casual chic. It gives her the strength and the reassurance of feeling good for the daily adventures in her life. Naturally sexy but not extravagant, she confidently expresses her elegance and independence.
There is also a cute atomiser that looks like a swiss army knife! how cute!
This EDP is a large 100ml bottle – quite a simple shape but it has pretty embellishing on the sides.
TOP NOTE: Freesia, Plum, Blackcurrant
HEART NOTE: Bulgarian rose, Lilly of the Valley, Viola
BASE NOTE: Cedar leaf, Sandal wood, White Musk, Myrrh
I found this perfume really floral with a hint of fruit. It’s quite a general scent, in that there’s nothing about it that I found unbearable and I can imagine most people could wear this floral-sweet type of scent. It makes me think of a field full of flowers but there’s something honey like in there – it’s a sweet rather than grassy.
For me because it is very floral it’s a spring to summer scent – it’s not quite zesty or fresh enough to make me want to wear it in the Spring, it’s a bit too heavy for that but not quite as serious as a winter scent. So for me it’s an approaching summer/summer/daytime perfume to be spritzed lightly…perhaps in the hair?!
Here is the atomiser – it’s ADORABLE:
How amazing would this be in the classic red design?
Clear instructions are included as to how to get the scent into the atomiser without damaging anything!
Meanwhile Victorinox have a cool micro site here where you can arrange your own digital bouquet. This can then be sent as a postcard to whoever you like (EU and Switzerland only) along with a perfume sample.
If you want, you can enter your bouquet into a competition and win a spa trip for 2.
It’s completely free of charge and if you like playing things like Candy Floss Maker on your iPhone you are going to be addicted to this! Here is my bouquet;
If you do get a sample for yourself or for someone else, let me know what you think of it!
For me this is a really every day type sweet flowery perfume, very inoffensive (the freesia is quite strong in it, to me anyway) so it’s highly giftable to people who love all things floral.
