I was not on the market for new mascara, but there was much buzz about YSL’s new mascara, Singulier, and besides, I’ve always been a fan of YSL’s Faux Cils mascara (When used with Shiseido Lash Base). So I hopped down to Boots (literally) and picked up this beauty for £21 (eek!): Gorgeous visual, no? Here is the mascara!! Like all YSL mascaras’ it has this light scent (which I like) but I accept its […]
YSL Palette Pop, a Limited Edition soft powder with a mixture of warm tones: This was part of the Spring 2008 collection. Picked this up recently on eBay for £15! What do you think? Worthy of being a random beauty?
Red Lips baby – its the only way to go for Christmas! I bought this YSL Rouge Volupte lipstick this week in Red Muse (there are quite a lot of reds to choose from in the range). I prefer orange based reds so Red Must was the best choice! On the lips: Rouge Volupte also comes with SPF 15 and a super cream texture
A bright, true green-turquoise. What would you do with this? Note: This image is part of the soon to be launched swatch gallery. Do not reproduce any of these images in any form for personal or commercial use without requesting permission. You can request usage by using the contact form.
Roll up, roll up, for Cosmetic Candy’s new series, Beauty Court. I have some super fun posts coming up for you (if I don’t say so myself) so stay tuned! All you badly behaved cosmetics will have no where to hide, now that I can take you to court! (suggestions for offenders are also welcome). This week we are dealing with this golden darling: Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat………. Why? Read on!
I had a major buying something for no good reason at all day, when I brought home YSL’s offering, the Perfect Touch Foundation. It comes with an attached brush, you see, and I am a sucker for ‘on the go’ type products. I am waiting for the brush to start stinking the way that the brush on Touche Eclat does – that awful, putrid vinegar smell….anyway, I know what you’re thinking. An ejaculating foundation? Well […]
Its been said that even in a recession, women will continue buying lipsticks, because they are give a quick instant boost for not too much moolah. I had that down in the dumps feeling the other week and decided I needed that boost, except my lipstick of choice was a rather pricey one at £20.50. I have reviewed YSL Rouge Volupte before and its gone a little Pete Tong. But it’s so sexy, isn’t it?…..
I am dabbling in the areas of tutorials – I am no professional but like a lot of girls who love make up, I get ideas from magazines and learn through practice. Everyone has to adapt things to suit their own eye shape but hopefully any of you can use this guide. All of the colours and tools I used are dupable but I have tried to use brands that can be bought from around […]
