Tweet Roll up, roll up – time is of the essence so here is my first speed review post with a mixture of bits and pieces I’ve tried out over the last few months but just don’t have the time (or the words?) to do a full review on! First up – Visee’s Limited Edition Mineral Cheeks Baby Finish in Orange OR-7 Visee is one of those Japanese brands that always looks good and is very tempting! But the products {Read More}

Visee Meets Blondy Glam Nude Eyes Eyeshadow Palette Haul in Classical Bitter Chocolate!

Visee-Meets-Blondy-Glam-Nude-Eyes-Eyeshadow-Palette-Haul-in-Classical-Bitter-Chocolate.jpg

Tweet I’ve recently really got into neutral eye looks; maybe because it’s just easier to apply and is great for work. Thus I have acquired (as you will see) a number of neutral eyeshadow palettes! The thing about Japanese palettes is that they are always shimmery and slightly sheer.  It’s nice to have some mattes and some bolds in a palette especially when you have a whopping 5 colours to choose from. I purchased Visee’s newest collection, Meets Blondy (I {Read More}

Eyes of the Day: Visee Blackish Forming Eyes Eyeshadow Palette in B-5

Tweet Sometimes I get the urge to buy a palette that I missed out on on when it was first released. In this case it was Kose’s Visee Blackish Forming Eyes in B-5: Visee palettes are quite nice – sometimes great, sometimes just average.  The Blackish Forming Eyes Eyeshadow Palettes are quite interesting because it’s quite rare that Japanese brands will have such bold, deep colours on offer.

Visee Glam Glow Eyes Eyeshadow Palettes for Spring 2011 in BR-2 and BL-5

Visee-Glam-Glow-Eyes-Eyeshadow-Palette-Brown-Blue-.jpg

Tweet I was saving up my pennies for a big, big Mary Quant eyeshadow haul when what appears on adambeauty.com? Visee’s summer palettes – so pretty! I can usually pass up on Visee as I find their eyeshadow deceptively good looking but poor to use. However these spoke to me. The packaging is pretty. I like the evenly sized squares: These are beautifully presented although quite lightweight.  Sometimes when I have a great palette like this, I wonder why I {Read More}

Sweet Cheeks: Visee Mineral Cheeks Baby Finish Blusher Review

Visee-Mineral-Cheek-Blusher-in-Pink-1.jpg

Tweet Visee is a Japanese beauty brand which isn’t qute high end (like Lunasol or MAQUillage) but not as cheap, I think as Majolica Majorca and KATE. I haven’t had much luck with Visee, there’s nothing from their range that I love, but this cute Mineral Cheeks Baby Finish Blush looked too cute not to buy (there’s a lot of “mineral’ stuff out at the moment in Japan!). Pretty! I choose PK-4: I actually chose PK-4 because pretty much all {Read More}

Pretty Purple Eyes: Visee Blossom Eyes Limited Edition Eyeshadow Review

Visee-Eyeshaow-Purple-Pink-Plums.jpg

Tweet Visee is not my favourite Japanese drugstore level brand – far from it but nevertheless, sometimes they release some really nice products. I seem to have quite a lot of their eyeshadow palettes because I find they tend to be bolder than other brands. I got the chance to try this new Limited Edition palette, called the Blossom Eyes – I chose ‘Romantic Glam’ which is a combination of purple, brown and pinks: The packaging is just lovely – {Read More}

Haul: Visee Brilliance Forming Eyes Mercury Rising Eyeshadows

Visee-Mercury-Duo-Eyeshadows.jpg

I wanted these two babies the first time I laid my eyes on them! Visee Japan’s latest offering is these snazzily cased Brilliance Forming Eyes. I like Visee eyeshadows – don’t love. These two are extremely cute: The one in the blue case is A-6 and the pink eyeshadow is A-7. The pattern engrained on the top of the eyeshadows is cute…but not, I-musn’t-touch pretty which is a good thing otherwise this would be sat in my bottom drawer….forever….. The {Read More}

Haul & Swatch: Visee Glam Hunt Eyes Mauve and Brown

Tweet I quite like Visee, a Japanese Drugstore level brand, although the products are hit and miss. I ordered these duos a while ago – Limited Edition Glam Hunt Eyes palettes in Mauve and Brown: Here are the palettes from Adambeauty for about £9 each: The Glam Hunt Eyes palettes have five gorgeous, pigmented, shimmer shades. You have everything from light to contour to liner shades. These aren’t madly exciting palettes, but they are wearable and elegant. Honestly, I would {Read More}
