SANA Pore Putty Moist Primer Base Review

SANA-Pore-Putty.jpg

Tweet Love SANA. Its a Japanese brand with a unique range of products and one of them is this Pore Putty range, consisting of primers, concealers and powders. The original Pore Putty stuff is nice. Its thick, proper heavy coverage stuff which is nice and not that common with Japanese cosmetics that can run quite sheer. I have tried various things from the original range and the Pore Putty in Clear. This is the newer version, which is ‘moist’ – {Read More}

Review: Cosmetics a la Carte Secret Light Eye Base and Concealer

cosmetics-a-la-carte-eye-brightener.jpg

Tweet I am a fan of Cosmetics a la Carte make up, even though when you see the products they are pretty laid back and unassuming. I picked up this Secret Light product because its a sort of 2 in one – an eye primer/base but also a concealer that can be used all around the eye area. I picked it up in Ivory, which is the lightest shade since I always end up with concealers that are too dark {Read More}

Review: Guerlain Meteorites Light-Diffusing Perfecting Primer

Guerlain-Meteorites-Perles.jpg

Tweet Love Guerlain. Such a pretty, pretty old school range, a tad expensive but really nice. They tend to do good discounts too come the New Year sales. I bought this pretty, pretty Guerlain Meteorites Light Diffusing Perfecting Primer on eBay for about £20 (was about £40 in the shops): This gel primer has little balls in it – ahem – with light reflecting properties inside. They pretty much stay firm until you use the pump bottle to get the {Read More}

Haul & Review: Benefit That Gal Primer for Brighter Skin!

Tweet You know how you have a hit list of products, things that you’ve wanted to buy and try for a while but they’re things you put off buying until crack? Well That Gal, a primer from Benefit is one of those items for me. I’ve always thought that it was mega cute and I love the idea of glowy luminous skin, so here it is: Inside the packaging (is that New York?) is a little tube of iridescent pink {Read More}

Review: Kevin Beauty Maker Super Thin Mascara Base and High Definition Volume Mascara

Tweet I need to stop buying mascara. Period. But if you hadn’t found your perfect one, wouldn’t you keep looking too? I bought this mascara and primer a few weeks ago from Beautymaker by Kevin: These cost me £10 each. I fancied the primer because I liked the fancy name – ‘Super Thin Mascara Base’. In my experience, white based primers are too heavy and weigh my pathetic lashes down. So a feather light primer would work a treat, merci. {Read More}

Review: Urban Decay Eyelash Primer Potion

Tweet In my dreams I have long, lush eyelashes that point towards the sky rather than sad little floppy things. Alas, it was not to be…so that’s why we have lash primers: Urban Decay Eyelash Primer Potion!…the brush is a traditional bristle and the texture is thick and white: Does it work? See after the jump!

Review: Urban Decay Pore Perfecting Complexion Primer Potion

Tweet …that is a lot of p’s. Urban Decay has some stonking new products out for Autumn 2009 – I got my mitts on some of them (there’s always good offers on at Boots). One of the first products I am reviewing is the Urban Decay Pore Perfecting Primer (£15.00): UDPP (Urban Decay Primer Potion) is of course one of the first and most coveted eyeshadow primers out there. These days there are a few great primers to choose from {Read More}

Review: Bellapierre Make Up Primer

Tweet Bellapierre Foundation Primer (SPF 15) caught my eye even though its a bit pricey and has a silicone like texture. I am not a fan of silicone textured primers (for example Smashbox Photo Finish) as they tend to give me spots. It’s a completely clear primer, which has a glossy, pure silicone texture It blends away easily into the skin, as you would expect and creates a smooth, non sticky base.
