Review: Tallulah Cosmetics Plumping Lipgloss

So I got my mitts on these two pretty mineral lipglosses from Tallulah Cosmetics: I am a sucker for lip gloss, but I really need to stop buying them since they go off fairly quickly and I am no where using all of mine up. These glosses are ‘mineral’ and smell of custard-vanilla. They say: This unique gloss formula is 100% paraben free, with minerals (Mica, TiO2, Iron/Tin Oxides) and a natural humectant (castor seed […]

Review: Inika Natural Mineral Make Up Foundation

Inika is an Australian make up company – they came about when the founders couldn’t find a “natural” cosmetic line that performed well and didn’t use talc, or parabens or bismuth oxychloride. I got this Inika mineral foundation in Nurture quite a few weeks ago but I was put off using it because looking at the case, it was filled with little shimmer multi particles. I am learning to like, not love mineral make up. […]

Susan Posnick Colorflo Mineral Make Up

I am slowly learning to love mineral make up. My problem is I hate anything at all that is cakey – hate hate hate. I’d rather have a face that looks like its been dipped into a frying pan than one that looks like its been dipped into a bowl of flour. I decided to try a mineral foundation big boy – one of the old and tested brands. Susan Posnick is relatively unknown in […]

Heavenly Naturals Pigments

I got some pigments from a mineral make up company calledHeavenly Naturals – and they are tres pretty! They cost $4.99 each for a full 5gram jar. Dark Circle Concealer: This concealer is salmon coloured and works a treat, especially with a bit of primer underneath so it sticks. I likey! Pigments: Sea Dragon – A rich emerald green colour – like a foresty rich green, very pretty. Paper Doll – A shimmery light pink […]

Afterglow Mineral Make Up

I liked the look of Afterglow cosmetics pretty purple website so had a dabble in some of the mineral make up products: Foundation in Caramel, Blusher in Peachy, Eyeshadow in Diva, Lipstick in Wink and baby Kabuki brush. I am still quite open minded about mineral make up. I love the idea that I can use a cosmetic quickly in the morning and just run out the door with, Even now I find loose powder […]

Review: Jenulence Minerals Eye Pigments

I got four Jenulence Mineral Eyeshadows in the post in Gold, Apricot Tan, Bronze and Aquamarine: The shades are pigmented and quite fine textured with a slight shimmer to each eyeshadow. They were very easy to use and blend but I’d definately recommend a primer (as with any loose powder eyeshadow) to make sure it stays put. Swatches: The swatches are quite sheer and quite glittery. When applied with a primer they are actually quite […]
