Pixiwoo’s Real Techniques make up brushes are a really rather impressive range of brushes, considering the price point they are at. You may take it for granted now, but I remember being a teenager and not being able to find any decently priced good make up brushes (I ended up with The Body Shop ones that shed everywhere). Anyway the Real Techniques range is expanding all the time and now there are some retractable brushes! […]
I am going to presume you have never been on YouTube or watched beauty videos on YouTube before; if this is the case then you will not have heard of Wayne Goss, and maybe you’re now thinking WHEN, WILL I? WILL I BE FAMOUSSSSSSSS? No. Ok, I’ll shut up now. Wayne Goss is a make up artist with over 15 years of experience who is particularly successful on YouTube. I am partial to the odd Goss […]
The other set of Real Techniques brushes I purchased from Amazon with a slight discount was this ‘Starter Set’ which is specifically for the eyes. There is a set of 5 products in this in a nice purple and black design with a case that doubles as a stand. I am quite fussy about my eye brushes; I have a trusty few I seem to use a lot then the rest just get picked up […]
I finally took the plunge despite have FAR TOO MANY MAKE UP BRUSHES – yes – I purchased some Real Techniques make up brushes specifically for travelling back in January! Amazon have these brushes on sale with a slight discount (about 10%) and I had some credit so I used it on these! (Bear in mind Amazon prices can fluctuate from day to day!). The ‘Core Collection’ contains four brushes and a case that doubles […]
I don’t buy that make make up brushes any more – my collection is so huge already that I tend to hold back unless I see an interesting one. I do have a soft spot though – for Napoleon Perdis make up brushes! Napoleon Perdis is a Greek Australian make up artist who launched a small make up studio in Sydney in 1992 and his own range of cosmetics in 1995. So far, the range […]
eBay is a really good place to get some make up brush bargains PROVIDED that you know what you are looking for and use trusted sellers with good feedback. You can get good discounts but obviously be sensible – no one is selling a full range of MAC brushes for £9.99! I purchase these Paul & Joe Brushes from eBay for an average of £10 each. Not bad huh! They retail for a lot more. […]
I have reviewed Tesshu or Tesshyu brushes before and found them to be gorgeous, a real investment. A few months go I invested in the non portable versions of their brushes, the Shadow Under Liner Brush (for under the eyes and also great for tight lining) and Eye Shadow Brush Large: The brushes come in plastic packaging – quite swish really! They are blue handled – there is also a more expensive red handle range.
Well, how it started was, I really wanted the Shu Uemura goat foundation brush but it’s a rather expensive £40 so I resisted. I spotted this Sephora Collection I.T. Natural Foundation brush on eBay so purchased it and some other bits too: The Sephora I.T. (Intelligent Tools) collection was co created by French designer, Phillipe Di Meo and the Pro Beauty Team. They have lightweight, long handles and represent the highest quality brushes from the […]
