Tweet Kate is one of my favourite Japanese brands. Visually, its nothing spectacular, but I do think their products are really good quality for a fair price. I picked up their new(ish) under eye concealer and pore concealer a few months ago to try. Tweet I purchased Kanebo’s KATE new Gradical Eyeshadow Palettes recently. KATE is a pretty good brand in terms of quality although the last few eyeshadow palette offerings were a bit shimmer, a bit sheer. The Gradical palette has 4 gradual shades and a white eye base which is quite common in Japanese eyeshadows palettes. They are thoughtful like that. Tweet I thought this was a rather bonny invention from Kate Cosmetics. What is it? I don’t know! This pen is like a firm felt tip liner. At first I thought it was a mascara. I did actually use it as a mascara to fill in the end lashes and it was ok. But my conclusion is that its a liner that you can wiggle into the base of your lashes to add some colour. Tweet Yay Maquillage! I got the new palettes in the purple and brown set: I love the look of this palette! There’s a cream shadow, three powder shadows and one eyeliner and all the applicators all in a fairly compact, er, compact. Tweet You know I dig green! Kate’s new palette, Diamond Cut eyes, had 3 shades and a gold/silver glittery addition to it. I got GN-1, of course. I also got Gradical eyes in BG-1 which is the perfect aqua for me! Guess what colours I will be wearing this week!
