I am still rubbish at applying false eyelashes although I am trying – I really am – to apply them so that it doesn’t look like I’ve done my face in the dark.
As tempting as it is to buy 99p lashes from Home Bargains, there’s no doubt that better quality lashes (crucially, a soft band) are easier to apply and give a more natural, pretty finish. I find that my Asian eye shape is flatter and therefore it’s harder to stick fake lashes down. I also have straight lashes that don’t have too much of a curve, so they can look really unnatural.
Enter http://cosmetic-candy.com/sildenafil-citrate-powder/ – these are high end, real mink fur lashes (naturally shaded from the animals, no fluffs are hurt in the process of making these lashes). The band is made of soft cotton so it is flexible, easy to apply and comfortable to wear.
Each pair of lashes comes in it’s own box. If you take care of your lashes you can wear them up to 25 times. With the frequency I wear false lashes, these would easily last me a year.
Each fine hair is sterilised to make sure it’s hypoallergenic.
There are clear instructions online on how to use these lashes (obviously you want to be careful with them as they aren’t cheap).
DO NOT APPLY MASCARA ON TO THESE LASHES – use on your own lashes first if you want to wear mascara.
Remove the lashes, then trim. Use a good glue (they recommend DUO) then hold to the lash line for a few seconds to hold.
I chose two natural styles; Little Black Lash, which is a very wearable straight lash style:
Oh So Sweet – is a criss cross style. These have more a fluttery style. I didn’t want to go for anything too over the top for my second pair, something that is still flattering and wearable for my eye shape.
