Sunday Shopping: Random Beauty Finds from around the Web and ASOS are STUPID

I’m writing this post on a late Saturday night whilst I watch Breaking Bad and do a bit of internet browsing – always dangerous for random shopping!

I’ve found some gems you beauties may like!

Firstly – Pixi! I absolutely adore their Endless Silky Eye Pen especially the colour options (such as bronze and teal) so wanted to get on my hands on their newest green liner.  Then I spotted this kit:
Pixi asos emerald green

It includes a endless eyeliner, the new seasonal eyeshadow palette and brilliance lip balm but there’s a HUGE problem – ASOS -why on EARTH would you not list the shade names of the products?!  I contacted the ASOS twitter account to check what the shades are – I can’t tell if the pencil is ‘teal’ (which I already have) or emerald green, and this is the conversation that happened:

Asos are stupid

Quite clearly, if these items are stand alone product there ARE shade names.

How lazy are their customer service and how lazy is the person writing the copy for this product!?

**UPDATE*** after many tweets I have been told the eyeliner IS Emerald Green.  The eyeliner alone is £11 so if you are ok spending another £9 it’s a good way to get the palette which is £16 alone (as long as you like the WARM configuration which is all browns and green), and the lip tints I have used before and are quite nice.

Now…Ellis Faas blushers retail for £21 – so I was excited to get one of these in soft bronze for a grand £8.40 from Strawberry Net!  I love all things in pen form for my ‘out and about’ make up bag – they’re easier to use!

There are 4 colours and they are currently reduced to £10.50 with an extra 10% off (I get 10% off for having made a number of transactions). Here is the deal.Ellis Faas Blush

Edward Bess blusher in Desert Rose is just £13 with and extra 10% off today! It’s the old packaging blush but still, it’s pretty nice:Edward Bess Blush Imperiale 02 Desert Blossom Makeup StrawberryNET com UK

Deal is here!

Just thought I’d share some findings with you.  Late night browsing is dangerous…
