I thought my body spray days were over and done with but no. I had to try these Body Fantasies scents out – the brand is from the US (it has that American vibe, no?) and comes in a huge array of fragrances. Currently there are 4 available in the UK; Japanese Cherry Blossom, Pink Vanilla, Pink Grapefruit and Twilight Mist.
The idea behind these dinky body sprays (94ml exactly!) is that they are formulated with a higher concentration of fragrance oil and therefore you can use less and it will last longer too. Despite being small bottles they do last for over 500 sprays. I love small sized fragrances as they are easier to throw in a yoga bag, for example.
Japanese Cherry Blossom – A floral, quite bright and romantic. Quite a grown up floral, hints of rose and amber, not like a teenager’s Impulse I think you could eat this and not feel like it’s cheap or too youthful.
Pink Grapefruit – is zingy and refreshing, quite sour to begin with in a tangy sense that fades in to a fruity-musky type of scent. I don’t go for overly fruity scents every day but I think this one would be a nice pick me up fragrance on relaxed days.
Both of these smelt quite strong with just one pump and lingered for a few hours. I could pick ip the scent until I next showered.
On their website there are additional scents – I would absolutely purchase Coconut and Red Velvet if they reached our shores.
Body Fantasies are great for people who like quite pleasant generic scents all over rather than a concentrated fragrance, or find tractional perfumes too heavy. It’s also much cheaper than perfume.
These cost £3.99 each from Superdrug.
