A good few months ago I spotted these cute Skinfood fragrance sticks, which are also supposed to be ‘therapy’ scents. I have a lot of love for solid perfumes because I find the scent softer than using a spray, and it’s also very easy to carry around.
I purchased 3 of these scents, Green Tea which is calming for stressful days, Happy Vanilla which is calming and Steam Milk which has lavender in it gives you a good nights sleep. I love the packaging which is this really sweet box:
I didn’t want to throw the boxes away!
The stick perfume comes in a fairly dinky tube but it’s still bigger than a lot of solid perfumes where you only get a small pot.
It looks more like a chubby lip balm!
The texture of these is slightly waxy, it comes off on the skin nicely, and leaves quite a decent scent that lasts around 4 hours on me.
The scents are quite basic, in the sense that they smell of the one thing they’re supposed to smell of (ie. Green Tea) and that’s it; there’s no notes, no layers or anything like that. I still think they can be worn as really clean scents although I have been using them for lifting my mood etc.
Here is how they look:
Overall, these Foodtherapy perfume sticks are pretty decent buys. I only paid about £6 each for these, and they smell very nice even if they are quite simple scents.

Love the idea of green tea perfume stick! These are so adorable!
I love the idea of stick perfumes, I have never bought one before! I live in London, so could you let me know where I could possibly pick one up? And also . . . how much were they each?
Thank you.
want the green tea! there’s a skinfood store in Harajuku; will have to see if they carry it.
i would love to try the green tea one – off to see where my nearest stockist is xxx
I like to try these too. I love the idea of the natural scent and these seems to be practical to take a long with you in handbag. Are they long lasting?
