Always one for trying out new Shampoo and Conditioners, I was sent some from Shea Moisture to try. Shea Moisture is a US brand which has recently landed on UK shores and is being sold in Boots. The range is natural and certified Organic, which I like, and is cruelty free and SLS free.
The reason for the range being called SheaMoisture is because the products contain Shea Butter which is rich h in fatty acids and vitamins. The range is huge – I have been using the Superfruit Complex 10 in 1 Multi Benefit Shampoo and Strengthen and Restore Leave In Conditioner. (LEAVE IN. Guess who didn’t read properly and used it as an Intensive Conditioner?!).
So on with the product.
The leave in conditioner which I got mixed up with an intensive treatment (it’s in a tub!) is a runny formula – now that I think about it, very light for an intensive conditioner (I really think it should be in a pump!) but about right as a leave in….anyway, as a leave in I used a teeny weeny bit and it added smoothies to my hair, made everything soft and shiny etc. I let me hair air dry quite a lot and if I forget to put a product in it, well then…ugh. With this, I run some through the ends and my hair looks 100% smoother and better (just don’t go overboard)….
Shea Moisture’s products tend to be at around the £10 mark. I am all for trying more products from the range as I like the formulations, it’s probably a case of finding the right product in the range.
