Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters Giveaway for USA Readers: 2 Lip Butters for 3 People!

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters have caused a real stir in the beauty world, and since the US bloggers have got a preview of the product, there has been tons of positive reviews about the range.

The lip butters are a hybrid of colour and lip protection in one pretty tube. Once I get my hands on some I will review (Official release in the US is January, which is why people have complained about colours being sold out everywhere!) so until then…how about a giveaway?

Revlon Cosmetics Emma Stone Lip Butters Colourburst

Oh by the way, Emma Stone is currently the spokesperson for the Colorburst Lip Butters – AMAZING. I love her. She’s one of my girl crushes; have you seen Easy A?  Crazy, Stupid, Love? Zombieland? She’s great in all of them.  She wears Peach Parfait in the above picture.

To enter leave me a comment answering this question:

If you could create any Lip Butter shade of your own, what would it be like (details, please!), and what would you call it?

Me: I would create a nude mauve colour, which is quite cool toned with blue micro sparkle in it. The sparkle would be quite fine so it showed when I stood under some light! The texture would be super buttery soft and the pigmentation fairly high so that one swipe would give a decent finish, almost like lipstick itself but of course, in a balm form!

Winners chosen in 2 weeks!

I would create a kind of salmon color, pink but with a hint of orange. The kind of color where you say “is this pink or orange?” Ideally it would be really soft but not runny and with nice pigmentation. I’d call it crazy coral! (because nobody wants to put salmon on their lips)

hm. I would probably create a deep coral-y pink that leans slightly peach-y. Throw in a dash of silver and gold shimmer to make it look super glossy :) The texture would be nice and buttery — not too much slip or else the stick will break easily/I will have to reapply too frequently. Definitely medium pigmentation, a bit closer to the sheer side and that would be just perfect!

These lip butters are huge already in Canada. I have 10 already and want 4 more but they are continually sold out. The displays are just so picked over in the shops that carry them for the preview launch. They are indeed creamy and smooth and great colours.

I would create a nice light shimmery purple-silver color for when you feel like wearing something a little different. I’d call it Out Of This World.

  5. Amanda says

I would create a nude type color with a light pink tinge to it. It would be called pink chocolate.

  6. Cass says

I’d create a fuchsia pink that has a kind of alternating neon-navy (it makes sense in my head, k) blue color and call it Flamingo Lake.

  7. Linda says

I would create a beautiful dusti rose with a little gold shimmer that was creamy not sticky and call it Cakepop.

  8. Amy says

I would create a sheer to medium color that is similar to Gumdrop in that it’s a purple that pulls blue but in a darker shade that is still vibrant and eye catching cuz it has a white base. Mmh for this color I can only think of Taro Bubble Tea as a name xD

  9. Halifax says

A bright fuchsia colour with lots of gold shimmers. Fuchsia Fever or something cheesy for name lol

  10. Jackie Craig says

I would create sheer blush pink, cool toned with silver fine sparkle. A creamy almost buttery texture and medium pigmentation so that you would have control of a light gloss look or a more covered look. I love to look like I am breathless :)

This is hard because they already have so many excellent shades – and I already want almost all of them and have just one so far (excellent restraint)!! I would make something similar to Lollipop and Raspberry Pie in that color family, fuchsia/ hot pink, but a bit more neon and with purple duochrome cuz that’s just how I roll. I would name it Bubbleyum for the awesome brightly colored gum we used to crave as kids!

  12. Mariko says

I love the sort of pastelly pink milky colours that Japan is continuously churning out. I’d love a lip butter that could conceal my natural lip colour and in a milky pink! <3

  13. Daintynymph says

I’m all about the vamp, so I’d make a darker brownish purple color, but sheer so it wouldn’t look stupid on my pasty skin. I’d call it Candied Raisin.

  14. Eva says

I would make it a nice pale pink color but not too pale because I don’t like the look of dead lips.
It needs to be semi-sheer and super moisturizing since my lips get dry easily.

  15. wakaka says

My Shade would be called Craze Rave. It would be a light peachy pink sheen with microshimmers that make your lips glow under neon lights.wouldnt that be pretty awesome?hahah

  16. L says

I’d make an almost opaque light orange-pink (I guess that’s a coral/salmon)! It would be soft and feminine with have the slightest sheen to it. It would also have to be sheer enough to be used for those days you just want a natural flush of colour but able to be built up to an opaque finish. :) Oh and moisturizing of course! Not sure what it would be called, maybe something cute like macaron or strawberry milk.

  17. says

I’d create a reddish pink with blue and pink microshimmer laced through out. The color would have to be deep enough to make my lips look natural but better, almost like I wasn’t wearing any color at all. I’d call the color Peacock Kisses.

  18. Jessica says

I would create a lip butter called “birthday cake sparkle surprise” and it would be glossy with a lot of glitter and shimmer and when you licked your lips it would taste like birthday cake frosting.

  19. Kristina says

I would create a very nude color with extra high shine and gloss. I’m pretty content with my lips and can have issues with them becoming overly pigmented after trying a lip product, so something sheer to just make them pop would be perfect for me! I know they have light nudes out now, but something more sheer would be sooo ideal!!
